Campers get full hands on experience. Each day they will bring home freshly baked goods that they have prepared themselves. They will be learning the basics of baking from measuring, to mixing, to baking and decorating. Each camper will receive an apron with each class enrollment. We offer two baking experiences during the summer.
Week 1- Baking 101: The children will be immersed in the beginning stages of baking. Their hands-on learning will be but not limited to: sugar cookies, royal icing, cinnabars, basic breads, muffins, cake balls and finishing the week with cupcakes.
Week 2- Baking 102: This class is our next step, for the more advanced baker or whomever has taken Baking 101. The skill level will be more difficult and decorating will be a must! Their hands-on learning will be but not limited to: pies, compotes, cheesecake, cake and fondant. The final day will be Cupcake Wars! Where bakers will be separated into groups to tackle the mystery ingredients and race to create the winning cupcake.
To reserve your child’s placement a $100 non-refundable deposit must be made. It will be deducted from the weekly fee on Day 1 of your designated week. Liability forms and paper work must be filled out on the Monday morning of the week your camper starts so please arrive 15 minutes early. There will be a 15 minute break daily for a snack/bathroom. Please feel free to send in a snack or drink with your camper. Campers must be 8 years old to participate.

Summer Baking camp schedule 2017
Camps will run Monday thru Thursday, 9am to 12:30pm with a 15 minute snack/bathroom break. Weekly camp classes begin:

July 10 to 13 Baking 101
July 17 to 20 Baking 102
July 24 to 27 Baking 101
July 31 to August 3 Baking 102
$325 plus tax per camper (price reflects rate per week)
